NOTICE OF LOCATION AND DESIGN APPROVAL P. I. 0009989 ROCKDALE COUNTY Notice is hereby given in compliance with Georgia Code 22-2-109 and 32-3-5 that the Georgia Department of Transportation has approved the Location and Design of this project. The date of location and design approval is: January 27, 2021 The project is approximately 0.4 miles long and includes pedestrian facilities and lighting. The project is located 6.5 miles northeast of Stockbridge, GA in Rockdale County. The project is located in land lots 134, 135, 154, and 155. The proposed project is the construction of a single lane roundabout at SR 138/ Stockbridge Highway at Union Church Road. The typical section of the roadway is two 12-foot lanes with rural shoulders. Construction is proposed to take place while maintaining current traffic conditions.
