LEGAL In accordance with Georgia Code Annotated, Title 36, Chapter 66, notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the Conyers/Rockdale Planning Commission at 7:00 p.m. on April 8, 2021 VIRTUALLY at https://www.facebook.com/RockdaleGov and with LIMITED ACCESS at the Rockdale County Administration and Services Building at 903 Main Street. Those wishing to speak during the Planning Commission Meeting are required to register their intent to speak via Zoom (phone or internet) 24 hours before the public hearing with Rockdale County Department of Planning & Development by calling 770.278.7100 or by emailing planning@rockdalecountyga.gov. A second public hearing will be held by the City Council at 6:00 p.m. on April 21, 2021 in the Council Chamber located at 901 OKelly Street, City Hall Complex. The purpose of these public hearings is to consider a request submitted by ECI Ventures LLC to amend the Comprehensive Land Use Plan for 2.34 acres from General Commercial to High Density Residential and to amend the Official Zoning Map from Highway Service Business to Residential Multifamily District. The subject property is tax parcel 072001021A in Land Lot 321 of the 16th District. All interested parties are invited to participate. During each public hearing, time will be given for those in attendance to speak in favor of or in opposition to this request.
