GFWC Service Guild of Covington member receives her 50-year pin
CONYERS — The Conyers Garden Club remembered fallen servicemen and women on Memorial Day by placing a wreath at the Conyers Blue Star Marker located on Green Street in Olde Towne Conyers.
The Conyers Garden Club, in partnership with the Nancy Guinn Memorial Library, will welcome Rockdale County Cooperative Extension Agent James T. Murphy to speak at the 2019 National Garden Week Program on June 4. Murphy will talk about “Bugs in your Backyard.”
The Conyers Garden Club took part in the Great American Cleanup Day in Rockdale County on Saturday, April 27. The club continued its efforts in the upkeep of the Lighthouse Children’s Garden along with the Rockdale Rotary Club and is very proud to continue serving the community.
