Conyers Garden Club awards August Yard of Month

The Yard of the Month for August, awarded by the Conyers Garden Club, is 23 West Oak Lane in Conyers. Growing at the front of the yard is an island area consisting of yellow lantana, lemon grass, weigela, and other grasses. Next to the house are crape myrtles, butterfly bushes, hanging ferns, low cut Chinese holly, cleria and azelias. The garage area has moss rose, a Japanese climbing fern on a trellis, impatients, and a Knock-Out rose. Several pieces of statuary are in the garden areas. (Special Photo)
