Christopher Thomas Estes and Rebecca Louise Allen were married on Oct. 19 in Barnesville. The Rev. Jeff Morgan officiated the ceremony. The wedding took place on the grounds of Honeywood Farms with a Western barn-themed wedding.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clay Allen of Barnesville. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. I.K. Dean and the late Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Allen. Rebecca is a 2006 graduate of Lamar County Comprehensive High School. She is a 2009 graduate of Flint River Technical College, where she earned a licensed practical nursing degree. She is employed with Dr. Kevin Delli-Gatti in Thomaston as pediatric nurse.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Estes of North Augusta, S.C. He is the grandson of Louise Arant and the late Fred Arant Jr. of Barnwell, S.C., and Katherine Hughes and the late James H. Estes of Orangeburg, S.C. He is a 2007 graduate of Newton High School. He is a 2011 graduate of Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College, where he received a bachelor’s degree in diversified agriculture. He is employed with SunSouth John Deere in Barnesville, as an agricultural salesman.

After a wedding trip to the mountains in Gatlinburg, Tenn., the couple resides in Barnesville.
