CONYERS — The Olde Town Summer Film Series continues this weekend with Saturday’s showing of “Incredibles 2” at the Olde Town Pavilion, 949 S. Main St., at the Randal S. Mills City Center Park.

The free movie event also features a “Touch a Truck” event in which public safety officials from the Conyers Police Department, Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office, Rockdale County Fire Department, and National EMS will be present with their vehicles to allow children to climb inside and explore.

Admission is free and children are invited to arrive as early as 7 p.m. for free games and crafts. The movie is scheduled to begin at sunset, or at approximately 8:45 p.m. Families are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs for optimum viewing comfort. Concessions will be available on-site by Ice Days of Conyers and at Olde Town Conyers restaurants.

The 2019 Olde Town Summer Film Series is sponsored by Conyers First United Methodist Church, Ice Days of Conyers, and Edward Jones – Tim Johnson’s office in Olde Town Conyers. The next movie to be shown is “How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World,” on Aug. 17.
