
Celebrating the arts in Historic Jonesboro Arts and Entertainment District with the kick-off of the 2023 ArtWalk on May 19th from 5 to 8 p.m.
The Women of Clayton County ArtWalk is a free monthly event that showcases our visual, performing, and culinary arts community.
This event will take place on the third Friday of every month in downtown Jonesboro.
Main Street is the main stage for food, art vendors, performers and immersive art experiences. Select restaurants, retailers, and galleries will have sidewalk sales, expanded outdoor seating, and be open for extended hours.
Attendees can start their ArtWalk at B’Mari with complimentary wine, champagne, a grazing table, music, and the ArtWalk Sip & Sculpt Experience.***

When you’re ready to walk, enjoy the full, cash bar in the B’Mari courtyard, saxophonist De Wayne Martin at the Historic Train Depot, live music at Fig Tree Cafe, open mic at Arts Clayton Gallery, food trucks, artisans, and more!

The Geranium Festival, McDonough’s annual arts and crafts festival is back for its 45th year on May 20 in Mcdonough Square!
The festival is from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Historic Downtown McDonough Square
McDonough Square is at 5 Griffin Street in McDonough.

Art of the Garden Tour returns on May 20 in Butts County.
This rain-or-shine event is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Attendees will have the opportunity to see five owner-designed, owner-dug gardens that honor terrain, microclimates, and the human history of the land.
Garden 1 - A horse farm with pond, water features, Japanese maples, specimen conifers, perennials, and a registered Toomer's Corner Oak. Meet artist Barnesville Woodturners.
Garden 2 - A modern home built on a former dairy farm designed for entertaining with low maintenance plantings, welcoming pavers, and an iconic white elm. Meet artists Katherine Allen & Kyle Osvog.
Garden 3 - A woodland park on a river, old growth trees, azaleas, and native plants nurtured by a master Gardener. Home sits atop an abandoned bridge abutment. Meet artist Rob Thurston.
Garden 4 - A traditionally landscaped home with an oversized deck, filled with perennials and small trees, by a gardener who lived in urban areas and learned to love her balconies. Meet artist Marie Wheeler.
Garden 5 - A small in-towm lot brimming with eclectic plants nurtured from cuttings and sales. Narrow paths under oaks and pines are lined with pots and shrubs. Meet artist Fred Goodrum.
All five unique gardens are in Butts County.
Addresses for the gardens will be provided after purchasing a ticket.
Cost to attend is $20 per ticket (plus a $2.50 processing fee if the ticket is bought online.). Admission for children under 12 years old is free.

The Family Fun Night series returns to Downtown Woodstock in 2023 after a successful debut in 2022.
Family Fun Night kicks off on May 18 and will be held the third Thursday of each month through July, from 5 to 9 p.m. in Downtown Woodstock.
Each month Family Fun Night will feature an exciting theme with activities around downtown, including a free movie on the Woodstock Arts Event Green.
The first Family Fun Night on May 18 is Prehistoric Night. Dinosaurs will be invading downtown for this fun trip back in time. “Land Before Time” will be the movie featured at Prehistoric Night. Movie will start at 7 p.m.
Children will have the opportunities to meet "some special dinosaurs in real life," meet a reptile, play dinosaur trivia, get their face painted and a temporary dinosaur tattoo, plus much more!
All activities take place between 5 and 7 p.m.
Visit Woodstock GA will be partnering with Woodstock Arts, Woodstock City Church, and others to bring family friendly fun activities to Downtown Woodstock for the Family Fun Night series.

Painting in the Park kicks off in 2023 on May 20 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
This recurring event is held at Wheeler Park where attendees will have the opportunity for painting nature-inspired art while enjoying cooling refreshments.
All supplies are provided.
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn some new painting techniques, experiment with supplies and create something amazing.
Each ticket includes: Refreshing beverages, 1 reserved seat with canvas, brushes, paints, painting tools
This is an ALL AGES Paint and Sip event.
Tickets are $30 and can be purchased here.

The third annual Spring in the Valley returns to Coosa Valley Fairgrounds on May 20 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This festival benefits Specially Gifted Foundation (SGF).
Attendees will have the opportunity to food trucks, a petting zoo, local vendor shopping, live music, inflatables, SGF kids booth, face painting, car & bike show and more!
The Car & Bike Show is sponsored by Automax of Rome and Blake Alvey.
Come have fun for all members of the family and for a great cause!
100 percent of vendor fees and ticket sales go to Specially Gifted Foundation, a Georgia nonprofit organization benefitting families who have children with disabilities.
