CONYERS — Blackberry Smoke, an Atlanta-based classic rock band, is teaming up with Falcons Fury Harley Davidson in Conyers to sponsor the Blackberry Smoke Ride for CURE, hosted by former Atlanta Braves pitcher Tom Glavine to raise critical funds for CURE Childhood Cancer to advance pediatric cancer research and patient support.

The 38-mile ride is scheduled on Sunday, Aug. 11 at 12 noon starting at the Falcons Fury Harley Davidson dealership and concluding at The Battery Atlanta and PBR Atlanta in Cobb County.

Registration for all riders and passengers for the event is $20 per ticket at www.rideforcure.org.

The event will include a pre-ride family picnic from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, August 10 at Falcons Fury Harley Davidson. There will be live music and complimentary food and beverages.

Once the ride concludes, riders and their families will be treated to live music and enjoy an afternoon on the green at The Battery and PBR Atlanta. During the post-ride gathering, Glavine will draw and announce winners of a spectacular raffle.

All proceeds from the ride, raffle and merchandise will benefit CURE Childhood Cancer.
