ROCKDALE — Georgia Connections Academy is hosting an information session in Rockdale County this summer.

Georgia Connections Academy is a tuition-free online public charter school for students in grades five-12 with a curriculum that meets state education standards.

The information sessions will give families an opportunity to learn more about the school as well as hear an overview of its curriculum and programs. Parents will also have the chance to speak with families currently enrolled and teachers.

Heather J. Robinson, executive director, said starting the enrollment process as soon as possible gives families “the best chance at confirming their spot at the school.”

Parents who wish to begin the enrollment process can visit Online information sessions are held at least twice per week and midday and evening times throughout May.

The information session in Conyers will be held at 7 p.m. on July 9 at the Courtyard Marriott Conyers, 1302 Green St. SE.
