GPTC holds open house

COVINGTON — Georgia Piedmont Technical College has invited all prospective students to their second open house of the summer at the Newton Campus this Saturday, June 22.

Georgia Piedmont’s Open House gives students an exclusive look at the advantages of attending one of GPTC’s campuses.

Designed to accommodate many schedules, GPTC Open House features activities designed to introduce the campus community.

Breakout sessions will provide participants with information about financial aid, admissions, majors, advising and more. A tour of the campus will be given, and future students will have the chance to meet with faculty.

If students choose to complete an admissions application at the open house, all application fees will be waived.

All participants who are interested in attending GPTC should bring official high school and/or previous college transcripts, test scores and a valid GA ID for on the spot acceptance as well as 2017/2018 tax filing documents.

The event will be held at 16200 Alcovy Road, Covington, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
