Heritage High theatre director receives Schuler Award

ArtsBridge Foundation presented the 2019 Shuler Award for Best Scenic Design to Rick Caruso of Heritage High School. Caruso won for his musical theater scenic design for the high school production of “How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying” during the 2018-19 academic year.

CONYERS— The national ArtsBridge Foundation recently presented the 2019 Shuler Award for Best Scenic Design to Rick Caruso of Heritage High School.

Caruso won for his musical theater scenic design for the high school production of “How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying” during the 2018-19 academic year.

Since the inception of ArtsBridge in 2007, the Shuler Awards honor Georgia’s best in high school musical theater performances and production.

A total of 75 high schools across the state enrolled to determine the nominees, with a team of more than 60 Georgia-based arts professionals evaluating the student productions.
