CONYERS — Rockdale County and the city of Conyers will hold a Record Restriction Day and Job Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, June 7, at Salem High School. The deadline to register is May 22.
This event is open to anyone who may have ever been arrested in the city of Conyers or Rockdale County, but was never convicted. You may be eligible to have your arrest record sealed. This is a free event and open to the public with or without a record.
The purpose is to streamline the criminal record restriction process of eligible citizens and effectively removing barriers so that they may obtain meaningful employment or just a clean slate. There will be no fees for this day and participants must be present with a valid government-issued ID.
