Conyers, GA The only subject more beloved than the paintings and verse of nationally acclaimed artist D. Morgan, was the woman herself. Native to the Atlanta area, Doris Whitten Morgan Messer passed away in Conyers, September 19, 2021, at 88 years young. Lover of Argentine tango, Yorkies, cruises and Lake Chatuge, she looked forward to every chance to celebrate special times as well as elevate the everyday.

A memorial service will be held at Scot Ward Funeral Services in Conyers, Ga., on Sunday, November 7, 2021 at 2:00 PM with Dr. Gary Stanley officiating. Family will accept friends at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM prior to the service, Scot Ward Funeral Services, 699 American Legion Rd., Conyers, GA 30012, condolences may be submitted online at, www.scotward.com
