Offensive linemen Jalen Farmer of Eastside and Kristian Phillips of Salem were named to the Georgia High School Football Daily All-State Football Team.

Farmer, a 6-foot-5, 325-pound senior, is a Florida recruit, and Phillips, a 6-6, 340-pound senior, is a Michigan State signee. Farmer made the Class AAAAA team, while Phillips was on the AAA team.

Two other locals, Newton senior defensive back Audavion Collins in AAAAAAA and Eastside senior running back Dallas Johnson in AAAAA, were on the honorable mention lists in their classes.
