CONYERS — Wednesday’s senior night for Rockdale County wrestling, a spotlight match against Monroe Area featured more than seniors Jha’Quan Anderson and Rodney Winston bargained for after learning of current win totals following their individual bouts.

A dominant 61-6 victory was overshadowed by Anderson winning his 140th career victory on the mat and Winston winning his 100th for the Bulldogs.

The two seniors have helped anchor the senior class at Rockdale this season with both winning more than 90 percent of their matches including an undefeated run at last week’s area and state duals. With Winston competing at 152 pounds and Anderson competing at 172 pounds, both are looking to make a run at an individual state title at next month’s state traditional meet in Macon.
